Art Commissions
Payment usually involves dividing the total cost into installments: an initial deposit before starting the work, a mid-way payment, and the final payment upon completion. The initial deposit secures the client's commitment and compensates for preliminary materials and planning. The mid-way payment allows for progress review and adjustments, and the final payment is made when the artwork is ready for delivery or shipment. This structure helps manage both the artist's and the client's expectations and ensures a smooth transaction process. Of course, clients are always welcome to pay in advance if that is what is preferred.
